The following is the recommended practice from Bob Boucher at ASTROFLIGHT
for seating new brushes and seasoning the commutator on the ASTRO 325 marine
motor:

1. Run for one hour at 2 Volts DC.

OR,

2. Run with a small 5-6 inch model airplane prop at 6 volts DC for 10 to 15
minutes.
