Notes about the model: She is the oldest model still on the water in 10th scale electric racing. During her early years she set the bar for speed and handling, featuring the first truly successful "reversed" electric motor and an X447-R right-hand prop seen on a 10th scale electric. Capturing 4 Gold Cups, a Silver and a Presidents Cup en-rout to 12 career race wins, the boat has struggled to make consistent race appearances over the last few years. After winning it’s first ERCU race with Nigel at the helm in 2003, the Mo-V’s winnings have been silenced by faster boats and better drivers. The scale "rib and stringer" construction and real mahogany deck remain the highlight of this classic model.

Like the Slo-Mo-IV, this boat was built by Anchor Jensen at the request of owner Stan Sayres. Constructed to defend the Gold Cup from Detroit rivals in the 1951, it was a boat built for the racecourse. Slightly wider than the IV, with more non-trip and a flatter deck curve it was built to go fast and turn left. And that it did until 1955 when it did a full gainer in qualification that proved to be the last driving appearance for the legendary Lou Fagol.

Notes about 2006: Notes about 2006 Plagued with radio issues, handling problems and inconsistent race appearances, the boat struggled to make the finals in 2006. While the upgrade to a brushless motor and LiPo batteries is not yet on the horizon, minor repairs and a spectrum radio show promise for a more successful 2007.
