Notes about the Model: This is another of Ron's fleet of boats and has been a consistant performer with a number of drivers. It's formerly one of Steve Twardus' boats. The boat had a number of podium finishes in 2006 including a win by Henry Marvin at the Bill Brow Memorial.
Notes about the real boat: The U-64 was a 1976 Les Staudacher creation, powered by a turbocharged Allison engine and raced as MISS VERNORS. As the Suire Shop, the boat posted three second-place finishes in 1978 at Detroit, Madison, and San Diego.
Notes about 2007: Ron attended five races this year, amassing 4,339 points in the Red Dot Championship Series, good for 15th place.
