Notes about the real boat: The U-90 Miss Smirnoff was built by Gale Enterprises in the winter of 1964. It was identical to the Gales Roostertail launched in 1965. This was the first Schoenith owned race boat that did not carry the "Gale" namesake. Miss Smirnoff won the 1964 President's Cup in its inaugural year, which was driver Bill Cantrell's last win in an unlimited hydroplane. In 1966, she was renamed "Smirnoff" and renumbered U-80.
